Kencko - Smoothie In One Minute

Kencko - Smoothie In One Minute

Can a smoothie you can make in a shaker bottle in 60 seconds taste good? Kencko has developed a smoothie system that allows you to shake up a smoothie in 60 seconds and also give you 2 servings of fruits and veggies. Too good to be true? Check out my review in the video below.

So what is Kencko exactly? Kencko is a subscription service that specializes in instant smoothies. The word also means “health” in Japanese, which is the focus of the subscription. Each smoothie pack comes with a freeze-dried powder blend of organic fruits and vegetables. Add the powder to water or your milk of choice (or other liquids such as coconut water) into the Kencko shaker bottle and shake for 45 seconds. Let it settle for 15 seconds and your smoothie is ready to be consumed.

I found out about Kencko through an Instagram ad. That’s right, they got me! For once, I’m glad an ad caught my eye and worked for me. The ad brought me to the Kencko website where you can sign up for a trial with a free shaker bottle, 3 smoothie packs, and free shipping. All for $16! I decided to give it a go since I was looking for an alternative to my morning coffee. I have noticed that drinking coffee gives me too much anxiety throughout the day and I’m slowly rotating it out of my daily routine. Kencko gave me the opportunity to have something healthy and can be made very quickly - a blessing for a girl who likes to hit the snooze button too many times.

Kencko offers a variety of flavors, and they’re categorized by the color family. For example, in my trial pack I got:

Reds - strawberries, raspberries, chia seeds, ginger, banana, apple, and dates
Yellows - carrot, pineapple, banana, mango, and cinnamon
Greens - spinach, kale, kiwi, pineapple, apple, banana, and ginger

The consistency of this at-home smoothie is thinner than what you’d get at a juice bar or health food store, or even the one that you make at home, but I like the taste. It’s not overly sweet and you can definitely taste pieces of fruits and veggies in a regular blended smoothie.
After my 3 pack trial, I decided to go forward with the 20-pack subscription at $59.99. That comes down to about $2.95 per smoothie. A steal compared to $4-$6 per smoothie you purchase in stores. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time.
This service works for me because I’m always in a rush in the morning and I don’t have the time to blend up a smoothie or even stop at the store for one. So far it’s a better alternative than coffee and doesn’t add time to my morning routine.

Is Kencko something you’d look into? What’s your morning go-to beverage? Share with me in the comments below.
