The Wonderful Cosplay Of D23 Expo
I had the pleasure of attending this yer’s D23 Expo - my first time ever! They weren’t kidding when they called it the ultimate fan event. If you’re a fan of all things Disney, I urge you to attend at least once.
I’ve attended different conventions such as San Diego Comic Con, Wonder Con, Dragon Con, and more. D23 Expo stands out as the most aesthetically pleasing one. Maybe it’s because of the cohesive branding, which everything is Disney. The show floor, while crowded, still leaves you with plenty of room to walk. The vendors aren’t squished side-by-side. That’s not to say there aren’t any lines - you most certainly will have to stand in line in order to get in stores such as Disney DreamStore, The Disney Store, Mickey of Glendale, or BoxLunch. There are also lines for artist signings, special meet and greets, and more, but that is to be expected at any convention.
What’s magical about D23 is not just the openness of the show floor and the pretty booth set-ups. It’s the fans. Attendees cosplay as their favorite characters from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. Here are some of my favorite cosplay/disneybound from D23:
If you were at D23, did you see any notable cosplay or Disneybounds? If so, comment below!
