Urban Decay Drops A Cherry Bomb
It was only weeks ago when Urban Decay announced the iconic Naked Palette will be discontinued. While we're still mourning the loss one of the most talked about (and purchased) palette in beauty history, Urban Decay posted a sneak peek on their official Instagram account, revealing the next addition to the Naked family - Naked Cherry.
This is a full collection including an eyeshadow palette, lipsticks, eyeliner, and a cherry-scented All Nighter spray. What better ways to mend your broken heart than a spanking new palette?
The Naked Cherry eyeshadow palette has the same packaging as its predecessors, but this one has a row of cherries on the case, in theme with its name.
The palette contains 12 shadows in the red/plum/brown shades in matte, shimmer, and glitter finish. According to the photos and IG posts, it also comes with a double-ended brush. Some are comparing Naked Cherry to the Naked Heat that released last year, but I feel Naked Heat has more of a orange/copper tint where the Naked Cherry is really following it's name and saying in the red color spectrum.
Other items in the collection includes 3 lippies, a blush/highlight palette, and 2 eyeliners, and a cherry-scented All-Nighter setting spray.
While Urban Decay haven't announced a release date, one can assume that this collection will be available soon, or at least in time for the holidays.
I have yet to try the All-Nighter setting spray but this cherry-scented one just may persuade me into purchasing it when it comes out. As a longtime fan of Urban Decay, I'm looking forward to the release of Naked Cherry and being able to swatch it in person. As far as price point goes, I'm pretty sure this palette will be priced as same as the other Naked palettes, at $54 USD.
