From the first time I saw Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, I had this feeling that I would fall in love with the character. Yes, she had her flaws but she also had her strengths, and as Clone Wars went on, Ahsoka's character grew.
Ahsoka has become one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars universe, and through the progression of the Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, I almost feel as I grew with Ahsoka. Her final episode on Clone Wars brought so many tears!
Once I heard that an Ahsoka book was in the works, I knew needed to add it to my library. And then it was announced that Ashley Eckstein, voice of Ahsoka, will be narrating the book. I bought it as soon as it was available on Audible. I dove into the book (er... audio book) and finished in 3 days. I loved how the book begin, and where it ended (don't worry, no spoilers here). E.K. Johnston made sure to include everything we knew about Ahsoka from the Clone Wars series, and hinted at other things we all theorized.
The final book signing of the tour was at The Grove, which I was dead set on attending. The event was filled with fans and cosplayers. There's something to be said about the Star Wars franchise bringing people of all ages together to have a good time.
There were cosplayers appearing as Ahsoka, clone troopers, Kanan, Sabine, Jawas, and Lord Vader himself.
The event started with a Q&A session with E.K. Johnston and Ashley Eckstein, followed by the signing. I was so happy to be able to get my book and my Funko Pop signed. If you're a fan of Ahsoka, you need to read this book. Ashoka lives!
