Mani-Monday: Smokey Marble

Mani-Monday: Smokey Marble

I always keep an eye on Pinterest for nail art inspiration. I look for designs that's chic, different, and something I'm able to replicate at home. As much as I enjoy visiting the salon to get my nails done, overtime the bills add up and I usually turn to trying out the latest nail art trend at home.

Low and behold, enter Coconut Nail Art by Incoco. It's not like the nail stickers you see in stores, though it might look similar. It's actual nail polish strips!  Created by fusing together multiple coats of high-quality liquid nail polish into a single strip that results in brilliant, salon-quality manicures that you can apply at home.

The best part is there are so many designs to choose from, and over the next few weeks, I'll share with you some of my favorite designs. For today, let's talk about marble nails.

This design caught my eyes because I honestly never imagined a marble design on my nails. To me, when I think of marble I think of kitchen countertops or fancy tables. But once I saw the design was available on both Coconut Nail Art and Incoco's website I was sold.

I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on my nails since then. Many asked where I got it done, and when I told them it was nail polish strips and I applied it on my own they were shocked because it didn't look like a nail polish strips.

The best part is that I never had to leave the comfort of my own home to achieve the look. The nail polish appliqué lasted about 2 weeks. You can add your favorite top coat to prolong the life of your appliqué (optional). To remove, just use nail polish remover.
